What are your fees for therapy?

My fees are $175 per 50 minute session

Do you take insurance?

Currently, I am in-network with Anthem Blue Cross and some plans with Blue Shield California. I am an off-campus provider with the UC Berkeley Tang Center, Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIPs).

Some PPO health insurance plans can give you a partial reimbursement for therapy with me. I can give you a receipt to help facilitate that process. However, please call your insurance carrier to learn about the mental health benefits included in your health insurance plan.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel an appointment, I kindly ask you to give me 24 hours advance notice, otherwise I will charge a fee of $75 for less than 24 hour cancellations and no shows. I will make every effort to reschedule should the need arise.

How do you schedule a consultation and first appointment with me?

After you contact me, I’ll either call or email you back to schedule a 15 minute consultation. We’ll briefly discuss what brings you to therapy. You can get a sense of how I work and ask your questions. Also, I’ll get acquainted with your goals for therapy. If we decide to work together, we’ll set up our first appointment. I see clients in person at my office and online (called Telehealth). I’ll send you an email invitation to create a log in to Therapy Notes. You can set up your own password and all the documents for therapy are located on the portal.

What’s a Good Faith Estimate?

The No Surprises Act is a federal law that protects patients from unexpected medical bills. A Good Faith Estimate helps inform clients the approximate cost of therapy if they are paying out of pocket for therapeutical services. I can discuss and provide a Good Faith Estimate to you upon request.
